My dealer lies over the ocean, my dealer lies over the sea My dealer lies over the ocean, smoking that Filipino weed Bring back! Bring back! Oh bring back my dealer to me, to me Bring back! Bring back! Bring him back from The Philippines My dealer lies over the ocean, my dealer lies over the sea My dealer lies over the ocean, smoking that dank Filipino weed

I need drugs like I need a hole in the head I need a hole in the head to smoke drugs I don’t drink PBR unless I’m out with my brother at the bars Cause I only get around in this town for one dollar PBR nights Cause I know how to make 8 dollars work right It’s not a drug problem. It’s a drug solution! I don’t drink to escape from life. I drink to escape from harder drugs. Do you need my shoes? I’ve got socks Do you need my socks? I was born with two fucking feet There are several types (hundreds of types!) Of alcohol poured in my head But I’m only needing one of them to get me safely into bed But I’ll take the floor instead! It’s not a drug problem. It’s a drug solution! I don’t drink to escape from life. I drink to escape from harder drugs. I need drugs like I need a hole in the head I need a hole in the head to smoke my drugs He tried to light a fire using cigarettes and gasoline But I smoked all my cigarettes and the fire wouldn’t light But I’m better off now Cause he’s huffing gasoline and the school was made of bricks anyway

Let me tell you a story bout a muted mandolin Never got played cause it’s strings were too thin No wood outside, worn out within It’ll probably end up in a garbage bin (Repeat) Played around the world by a million hands It’s got blue grass folk and punk rock fans In America, Germany, UK, and Japan Bouncing with the band in a mini-van (They all go!) Play that mandolin! (x4) Let me tell you a story bout a muted mandolin Never got played cause it’s strings were too thin No wood outside, worn out within It’ll probably end up in a garbage bin Muted mandolin sure got passed around But got lost somewhere in some muted town Now it’s just dying to be found Dying to play make a sound for a dying crowd I told you a story bout a muted mandolin Never got played cause it’s strings were too thin No wood outside, worn out within It’ll probably end up in a garbage bin

He knows that he’s a man, but his mommy and his daddy claim that she’s our pretty princess He explains it the best that he can, but his grammy and his pappy say he doesn’t have a penis anyway He kisses boys and girls, doesn’t matter What junk they might or might now have Picky bout personality Someone who likes camping and would climb a mountain with him For 20 years he’s been confused and conflicted Stood up, turned down. Refused and contradicted Checked himself in to rehab therapy to Escape the pain and the methamphetamines, whoa Cause meth ain’t for men, whoa No meth ain’t for men, whoa Meth ain’t for men whoa Whoa Don’t need the kiss of a princess, you were never a frog Don’t need the kiss of a princess, you was never a frog Don’t need no kiss from no princess, you weren’t ever a frog Don’t need a kiss from a princess, you’ve always been a prince.

Crumble and fall Harder than the future of the outlet mall With a broken belly in a bathroom stall Vomit in his beard leaning up against the wall The give helmets to crash test dummies He needs a helmet just for drinking Coil in pain Regrets nothing cause he does it just the same Broken glass in my feet from a picture frame What a shame it’s the sanity that’s driving me insane Who needs food when you’ve got cigarettes? Who needs shoes when you’ve got calluses? Crumble and fall Smokin soaken spirits in a shower stall Coiled in pain That’s the name of the game when you’re the one that’s called insane

What you call empathy, I call distress What you call apathy, I call death What you call fun is not in my plans tonight What you call wrong I call somebody’s right Whoa, if the mind is an ocean, well, I get the notion I’m drowning Whoa, and if God isn’t real, then how come I feel like a bird? What you call progress, I call disturbed What you call madness, I call my friends If you want justice, well, you can’t just hold your breath (You gotta) raise your voice, raise your fists, and sometimes care too much City of vultures in a country of crows Vultures and crows

I feel like a circle in a world full of squares Maybe I’m hexagonal, maybe nobody cares I’m a single apple in a world full of pairs My mind is going in circles instead of going down stairs Goin down stairs Where nobody shares With all of the squares All of the squares I feel like a jester in a travelling fair You know the kind that hangs around with lions and bears Imma shakin my mane out while they’re combing their hair Say my types devastating, devastatingly rare I’m incredibly rare Not that you notice or care Cause I’m not full of hot air, my head ain’t full of hot air I feel like a circle in a world full of squares Maybe I’m octangular, probably no one fucking cares I’m a big ol banana in a tree full of pears I keep on runnin in circles, and then fallin down stairs I’m as blind as justice in this place so unfair I’d take my side of the argument if I wasn’t so scared I keep on running in circles, naked and bare Yeah, I’m running in circles, but I’m running with squares They got me running with squares Runnin in circles with squares All of the squares, all of the squares A world full of squares Linear linear linear linear ways You got me thinkin in your Linear linear linear linear ways I’m done thinkin in your Linear linear linear linear ways Fuckin fed up with your Linear linear linear linear ways Because your lines are lazy lines because your lies are lazy lies Because your lines are lazy lines because your lies are lazy lies Because your lines are lazy lines because your lies are lazy lies Because your lines are lazy lines are lazy lies Linear linear linear linear ways We’re getting nowhere with your Linear linear linear linear ways No progression in your Linear linear linear linear ways Only backwards with your Linear linear linear linear ways (Inaudible nonsense)

When swimming in the Devil’s Punchbowl, better adapt quickly, because the ocean Will keep your body, there’ll be an empty casket, at the graveyard riots I want to live At my funeral, there’ll be no priest, no cemetery Decomposing, long before, before the graveyard riots I want to live

The Thing 00:49
My old blue jeans will die with me Crashing across the oceans, soaking up the seas I don’t know what the Upside-down Time brings But for the beasts of the anthropocene, it might just be The Thing But they won’t do The Thing alone Why would they do The Thing alone? When you never have to do anything alone!

about

Dearest Friends and Bandits,

I wrote this album as a reminder that to do The Thing is to make the most of the human experience, but to also serve as a cautionary tale of the potential consequences of trying to do The Thing alone.

"When his drug dealer moved to the Philippines, Christopher Motherfuckor found himself having to decide between one of two life routes to follow. Either he continue working, and use his earnings to pay for food (a ridiculous notion in and of itself) or to exile himself to the wooded mountains to pursue the ultimate reality: The Thing. Needless to say, he chose the latter. But as the last of the drugs wore off, Motherfuckor was forced to comprehend the bitter consequences of solitary freedom. Ultimately, the innate madness of complete freedom drove Motherfuckor from the woods and back into society. Realizing the discomfort of both scenarios, he fled to his last known comfort, the sea, where he would meet death. However mortal Motherfuckor’s body may be, the desire to practice The Thing is what made him eternal."
